It’s been said before, and it will need to be said a million times again, but PLEASE stop comparing heterosexism and cissexism to racism. They are not the same. They are not interchangeable. Gay is NOT the “new black”. Trans rights are not the “civil rights of our time”. Can we please acknowledge the QPOC who have to deal with who deal with both? Take it from them. We need to work on racism AND hetero/cissexism.
